Successful communication in the workplace is essential for efficient and quality production. Language skills can often be a barrier and cause disruptions in product development and create concerns for employee safety. CLA specializes in creating customized language programs to help employees and managers better communicate. Our Corporate On-Site Language Program is specifically designed to help employees of businesses improve their fundamental English skills to help them advance in their company. Programs can be taught in English, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, and many other languages.
Prior to the start of the program we meet with your company to fully understand your business, the needs of your employees (accent reduction, fundamental language skills, grammar, memo writing, etc.), and the goal of your organization. We then partner with you to customize each Corporate On-Site Language Program to fit your specific needs by including relevant documents, work orders, forms, industry specific vocabulary and other materials that directly relate to your company.
We also help you promote the program, by motivating your employees to join and we conduct a level assessment for each of your employee to create effective groups based on their language proficiency.
The classes can be held on-site at the Company’s location for the convenience of your employees or at our own facilities. Each of these classes will be a closed groups specific to your company to ensure personal attention.
The Oral Business Communications will include, but are not limited to, training in business presentations, informal negotiations, formal use of the language, Culture and Etiquette in American Business, and listening development within the business atmosphere. The Written Business Communications includes, but is not limited to, training in various types of business correspondence, business reports and proposals, and reading and/or vocabulary for specific business purposes.
Our goal is to make sure that all of the Corporate On-Site Language teachers are specialists in business language skill development and are also familiar with business settings so that they can understand the daily situations that your employees are faced with.
